Meet the Owners

Margeaux Zwick

Rosario Ranch is the realization of a lifelong passion for horses, animal care, and creating a place where people can connect with both.

Owner and founder Margeaux Zwick brings more than two decades of hands-on equestrian and animal care experience to the ranch. Her background includes working with top-level sport horse programs in Southern California, where she served as Barn and Show Manager for Pomponio Ranch South, one of the country's premier show jumping operations. During that time, she worked alongside internationally recognized riders, trainers, veterinarians, farriers, and equine professionals, gaining invaluable experience in horse management, competition preparation, rider development, and equine wellness.

Her experience includes working with Olympic-level athletes and industry leaders, helping manage elite sport horses both at home and on the road at national competitions. These opportunities provided a strong foundation in horsemanship, professionalism, and horse care that continues to influence the philosophy behind Rosario Ranch today.

Margeaux has also spent many years working in veterinary medicine and currently serves as a veterinary assistant at a mixed-animal practice in Washington State. Her veterinary background provides a unique perspective on horse health, safety, nutrition, and preventative care, allowing her to bring an extra level of knowledge and attention to every horse at Rosario Ranch.

After relocating to Anacortes, Margeaux combined her professional experience with her dream of creating a family-centered ranch where horses, education, and community come together. Today, she oversees the daily operation of Rosario Ranch, including horse care, lesson programs, facility management, and future farm development projects.

Her goal is simple: to create a welcoming environment where riders of all ages can learn, grow, and develop meaningful relationships with horses while enjoying the beauty and slower pace of farm life..

Devin Zwick

Behind the scenes, Devin Zwick is the steady force helping turn big ideas into reality.

As co-owner of Rosario Ranch, Devin plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of the property. From fencing projects and facility improvements to construction, equipment maintenance, and the countless behind-the-scenes tasks required to keep a working farm running smoothly, much of what guests and riders enjoy today is the result of his hard work and dedication.

Known for his practical mindset and strong work ethic, Devin has been instrumental in transforming the property into the welcoming ranch it is today. Whether he's building infrastructure, operating equipment, maintaining pastures, improving facilities, or helping care for animals, he's always willing to tackle the next project.

His vision for Rosario Ranch extends beyond horses. Devin is passionate about creating a place where families can reconnect with the outdoors, children can experience agriculture firsthand, and visitors can enjoy the beauty of rural life while still feeling at home.

Together, Margeaux and Devin share a commitment to building something meaningful for their family and community. Alongside their daughter, McKenna, they continue to grow Rosario Ranch as a place that feels less like a business and more like an extension of home.

Our Mission

At Rosario Ranch, we believe horses have an incredible ability to teach confidence, responsibility, patience, and compassion. Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where riders can develop their skills, families can connect with animals and nature, and every visitor leaves feeling a little more at home than when they arrived.

Whether you're joining us for riding lessons, spending time with our horses, collecting farm-fresh products, attending a clinic, or simply enjoying the beauty of the property, we are grateful to share this special place with you.
